Sorry for the delay, this is the new rebuild of Conception Maiden. The game has now been rebuild in renpy. All of the characters CGs have been re-rendered for 1080p resolution(and made to-scale), along with animations(including new ones), and the storyline has changed to a degree(along with many minor changes), and now goes a little past the birth of Shiri.
Note this release does not include the extra "Luxuria" since I still want to adjust the text/story on that a little bit more, but I'm planning another version this month that also includes the Luxuria storyline.
I'll also give this game rebuild a new(or expanded) official name(instead of just simply "Conception Maiden"). For now, this has the name "CM rebuild untitled ", but I should have come up with a real name for it sometime soon this month.
ALSO NOTE, this version won't be release publicly since I haven't decided on the official game name yet, and this version doesn't include the Luxuria storyline. However, I'm planning to release another version this month with the official name that also includes the Luxuria storyline this month, and that version will later be released publicly.

Okay just found your game and it looks very interesting hoping to play it but how many different versions of conception made are there I read through your blog and it looks like you had an original version of the game but made a rebuild of the game and now you're making another rebuild of the game I got a little confused because I haven't been following it since the beginning.
ReplyDeleteHi EscapedDreamerD, sorry for the confusion. The next release is the one I would recommend you play, it is the game completely redone in renpy game engine and will have the most content story-wise. This rebuild will also have a new name.
DeleteIf you're wondering about the history, basically, there were 4 demo releases of Conception Maiden. Demos 1 and 2 had the orignal concept, while demos 3 and 4 are the rebuild(everything was called Conception Maiden and plays as a stragety rpg with real-time combat).
-Demos 1+2 were made in GameMakerStudio1 (story about a post-apocalyptic modern world).
-Demos 3+4 were a rebuild that was made in GameMakerStudio2 (story about monster girls in a post-apocalyptic world).
This is just a summary kind of, but basically both of these became way more complicated that I originally intended and had seen little progress.
However, now the game is rebuilt in renpy(will have a new name, which should also help avoid confusion), which has turned out to be a very good fit so far and now the game is even easier to develop than rpgmaker games have been for me.
